Happy Birthday to Ginger Baker, another one of my favorite drummers and absolutely one of the best. Baker was/is a jazz drummer, with a rock resume… but don’t get it twisted, his skill set knows no end. Primarily recognized for his work with Cream and Blind Faith, he collaborated with Fela Futi and Africa’70, as well as Paul McCartney and Wings for Band on The Run… the list goes on.
